Content Marketing Specialist


SiO Digital is seeking a data-focused Content Marketing Strategist to conceptualize and execute B2B content strategies that are designed to educate, nurture, and convert target buyers to leads. In this role, you will manage and produce branded, compelling, valuable, and targeted content for our clients’ ideal buyers across all parts of their buyer’s journey.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about using the power of words to inspire, educate, deliver insights, and experience the thrill of solving their toughest business problems. You’ll manage and collaborate with writers across a variety of industries to develop content, including blog posts, e-books, white papers, infographics, press releases, and more.   • Own strategy, planning, project management, creation/procurement, publishing, internal distribution, and analysis of compelling content for target buyer personas across analytics functions, lines of business, and key verticals/horizontals that answers ‘prospects’ most pressing questions and challenges their status quo
  • Partner and work closely with the Account Managers, SEO Strategist, and Social Media Strategist for topic creation, content distribution, and SEO strategy implementation within the content

  • Adjust each client’s content based on their target buyer and brand

  • Hire and manage writers for each client

  • Create content calendars in Asana and schedule content accordingly

  • Establish procedures for analyzing content performance and incorporate analytic findings into the content strategy, production, and distribution process

  • Analyze current media assets and strategize new content ideas including downloadable tools, webinars, quizzes, videos, infographics, and highly shareable articles


You will need:

  • Experience in implementing an Inbound approach to content strategy and creation

  • 2-3 years of experience in a comparable role preferred

  • Ability to analyze data to inform strategy creation

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented, well organized, efficient with time management 

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Asana, WordPress, and HubSpot

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business, or a related field

  • Must have demonstrated expertise in content-driven marketing, including working knowledge of content funnels, user journeys, and multi-media campaigns
